Closing in random order for the European price lists, at the end of a flat session, which does not find great afternoon cues in Wall Street, which opens cautiously and is still awaiting the fateful meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, in Osaka on the sidelines of the G20. It is hoped that the presidents of the US and China will find a compromise to restart the negotiations on tariffs, in order to avoid a trade war that would jeopardize the stability of the world economy, even if Beijing could also bring the Huawei issue to the table. On the macro front in the US, GDP in the first quarter is confirmed as solid, +3%, while in June confidence in the eurozone economy drops to a three-year low, worse than expected. 

In this context Business Square closes a discrete day and rises by 0,26% to 21.110 points, thanks to the good intonation of the banks, in particular Ubi +3,9% and Unicredit +2,07%. Thanks, in part, to the soothing signals on Italy, as regards the infringement procedure for debt and the successful outcome of the government bond auctions in the morning, with yields down to their lowest since April 2018. In particular for the BTP 10 years the gross yield fell to 2,09, a decrease of 50 basis points. On the secondary it closes little moved spread between Italian and German ten-year bonds at 244,9 basis points (+0,33%) and the yield is down slightly to 2,13%. 

On the Ftse Mib there are other brilliant titles Prysmian + 2,29% Exor +2,27%; Moncler +2,2%. The bounce fails Atlantia -0,2%, after yesterday's crash. Well Telecom, +0,93% on the day of the board of directors andfarewell of councilor Amos Genish, former CEO of the group. In the rest of Europe Frankfurt rises by 0,2%, thanks to the leap of Bayer (+9,18%) toned up by the change of strategy on the glyphosate issue and by the confidence of Eliott who holds securities for 1,3 billion dollars in the conviction of the potential unexpressed value of Bayer's assets. Slightly declining Parisi -0,13%, Madrid -0,14%; London -0,2%.

In New York, the Dow Jones it is slightly below the parity line, with Boeing down due to new problems with the 737 Max, the aircraft type grounded since last March due to two fatal crashes. 

Euro-dollar stable, in area 1,137. Calm on the Petroleum, with Brent at 66,32 dollars a barrel (-0,26%).
