Stock markets weak but the spread continues to fall

Weak start for the European stock exchanges: after the rally on the eve, driven by the economic recovery highlighted in China, Europe and in estimates also in the USA, Piazza Affari opens again with the "minus" sign. In fact, Milan travels around -0,5% in the first minutes after the opening of the markets, in line with the other European price lists. The Bund-BTp spread is also down, settling at 237 points, two less than the previous closing.

Among the negative performances on the Italian stock exchange, Fiat and Fiat Industrial are particularly noteworthy, both losing more than 1% at 9.25 am. Parmalat, on the other hand, did very well +1,3%, followed by Fonsai and Telecom Italia among the best stocks.

On the other hand, there was a positive session on the Tokyo Stock Exchange which, after yesterday's drop of 0,44%, immediately rebounded and even soared thanks above all to the depreciation of the yen on the currency markets, which galvanized the most exposed sectors on the export side.
