The Uniposai share shines in Piazza Affari, gaining about two percentage points at the opening (in contrast to the Ftse Mib, which is down 0,4%), achieving the best increase on the Milanese stock market. The value of the shares reached a maximum of 2,3760 euros. Unipol also performed well (+1,5%), on the highs of the day and the peak since May 2012.
The purchases on the companies come after yesterday the Boards rejected Ageas's offer on the insurance business and on some assets subject to the disposal procedure started in 2013.
However, the board received an offer from Allianz deemed "suitable to allow the Unipol Group to comply with the particularly stringent measures imposed by the Antitrust".
Subsequently, the company announced the issue of a convertible bond for 201,8 million euros.
