On the stage of Piazza Affari today all eyes are focused on Unicredit. But the music doesn't change and the tragedy doesn't turn into comedy: the title of Piazza Cordusio loses 7,32% just one hour after the start of trading. Thus the attempt to rebound at the start failed - which for a few minutes led the shares to gain more than 4% - on the hottest day for the Bank, which will start today a capital increase from 7,5 billion.
The price at which the shares will be sold is 1,943 euros, for one maxi discount of 43% on the theoretical price. The announcement to the market kicked off a series of horror movie sessions: in the last three days of trading, Unicredit lost more than 35% on the stock market.
