Unicredit is affected by the difficult situation in Ukraine: the institute's securities lose 4,51% (settling at 5,50 euros), after the military escalation in the country.
The group holds UniCredit Bank in Ukraine, created in December 2013 from the integration of UniCredit Bank and Ukrsotsbank. However, according to the consolidated financial statements at the end of September 2013, loans to customers of the Ukrainian subsidiary account for only 0,4% of the group total.
