Despite the positive data coming from China, the Tokyo Stock Exchange turns red in recent trading and closes the session slightly down. The Nikkei index of the 225 leading stocks lost 0,17%, to 14.561,54 points, 24,97 less than the previous closing.
The Topix index, which instead measures the entire first market, closed almost unchanged, at 1.205,52 points, down by 0,06%. The trading volume exceeded two billion shares on the main market.
According to operators, the decline is mainly linked to profit-taking after a week entirely dedicated to the rise.
