Stock market, Tod's flies after the bills

Tod's shares took off on the Stock Exchange, gaining more than six percentage points at the beginning of the afternoon, to 85,95 euros, achieving the best rise in the Ftse Mib, in the wake of the fourth quarter numbers and the confidence in 2015 expressed by the management.

Yesterday, after markets were closed, the fashion company announced that 2014 ended with a turnover of 965,6 million euros, substantially in line with the previous year (-0,2%) and slightly above the consensus of 961 million.

The most important signal for analysts came from +4,6% of revenues in the October-December period, driven by multi-brand sales, but also by the optimism of management both on the possibility of achieving an ebitda of 193 million in 2014 and on 2015 sales after the first results on the sale of the spring-summer collection.

“Even in the light of the initial positive results of the spring collections now in stores, I am confident that our group, albeit in a context of low visibility and uncertainty on some markets, will be able to achieve positive results this year”, commented the chairman and managing director XNUMX Diego Della Valle.
