In addition to the positive numbers published this morning by the British giant Vodafone, which have given impetus to the entire European TLC sector, the shares of the Italian group also benefit from some press rumors about the ongoing negotiations for the sale of the towers of Tim Brasil.

According to Il Sole-24 Ore, in fact, American tower would be in the front row for the acquisition of the assets of Tim Participacoes, the Brazilian subsidiary of Telecom Italia. The broadcast infrastructure giant would have put an offer on the table close to 900 million euros, the target set by Telecom to agree to the sale.

In recent weeks, the newspaper explains, the binding offers to the advisor Morgan Stanley would have arrived and the Tim Brasil decision, in agreement with the Telecom Italia board of directors, would be by now close. With the proceeds, Tim Participacoes would aim to finance the purchase of the fourth generation frequencies it recently won.
