Borsa, surprise in Piazza Affari: Tas (+242%) is the queen of 2016

Observing the ranking of the major increases in 2016, it is impossible not to notice the Guinness record performance recorded by the Tas share which, in the last twelve months, gained 241,97%, going from 0,4053 to 1,386 euros.

Borsa, surprise in Piazza Affari: Tas (+242%) is the queen of 2016

It has not been an easy year for Piazza Affari which in 2016 recorded one of the worst performances at an international level, followed only by China. However, looking outside the Ftse Mib, performances that are anything but negative can also be found on the Milanese list. Powerful gallops and record increases have been achieved by what are called "missile" shares, i.e. securities with 3-digit yields which have continued to gain over the last year despite the general negative trend of the Stock Exchange.

Looking at the ranking of the major increases in 2016, it is impossible not to notice the Guinness record performance recorded by the TAS title which, in the last twelve months, has gained 241,97%, going from 0,4053 to 1,386 euro.

The company specializing in software solutions for e-money, payment systems and financial markets, active in Europe and Latin America through its subsidiaries, can unanimously be defined as the queen of Piazza Affari. Listed on the electronic stock market since May 2000, Tas Group's first shareholder is OWL spa (a company controlled indirectly by Dario Pardi and Valentino Bravi and some important Italian investors) which currently holds 87,557% of the share capital.

The company led by the managing director Valentino Bravi and by the Chairman Dario Pardi, also thanks to the corporate reorganization operation which took place last August which allowed the return to a positive net financial position and the solidity necessary to undertake a path of growth, put in place the best performance of the year. But obviously, being a thin title, Tas is also the subject of speculative waves, today upside down and tomorrow maybe downside. But today he can celebrate his supremacy.

In second place we find El.En., leader of a high-tech industrial group, operating in the opto-electronic sector, which produces laser sources and innovative laser systems for medical and industrial applications, with an annual increase of 137,61%.

In third position is instead Digital Bros, a company active in the digital entertainment sector which, from a technical point of view, made a huge leap (+79,15%), going from less than a euro to 13,44 in very few years.

To find the first blue chip in the standings, you have to go down to fifth place (Retelit is fourth, +72,82%) where Stmicroelectronics is positioned which, over the last 12 months, has gained 70,88%.

Despite the lackluster performance recorded this year by Piazza Affari due to the internal and international vicissitudes that have shaken the markets, someone has great reasons to toast this 2016 which is about to end.
