Salvatore Ferragamo closed 2013 with a group net profit of 150 million euros, up 43% on 2012. Revenues were 1.258 million euros (+9% on 2012 at current exchange rates, + 11% at constant exchange rates), ebitda of 260 million (+14%), ebit of 219 million (+13%), with pre-tax profit of 221 million (+17%). The net profit for the period, also considering the result of minority interests, is 160 million euros (+28%).

Financial indebtedness decreased, going to 33 million euro as at 21 December 2013, from 58 million a year earlier. The board of directors will propose to the shareholders' meeting a dividend of 0,40 euro per ordinary share, up from 0,33 euro in 2012 (+21%). The dividend will be paid on 22 May 2014. As regards the current year, "the business trend in the first few months of the year confirms, in the absence of particular market disturbances, an expectation of further growth".

This morning, in the wake of the good results, the Ferragamo stock on the stock market gains 1,7% a 23,20 euros at 9,30 pm.
