The pharmaceutical company Rottapharm it will make its debut in Piazza Affari on Wednesday 16 July and will use the proceeds of the IPO to pay off debts and to "close at least one or two of the five acquisitions and partnership dossiers that are under study within the year". This was announced today by the president and managing director of the company, Luca Rovati, during the presentation of the listing. 

In particular, there are "four European dossiers on the table, two for possible acquisitions in a country where we are present with distributors - explained Rovati -, one concerns a product in a southern European country and one a pan-European product". 

The fifth dossier under study "concerns a partnership in the Far East", concluded the manager, specifying that for M&A operations after the IPO the company will have a "spending capacity of up to half a billion euros".
