Stock market, banks rebound but Mps still goes down

BANKS AND MANAGED SAVINGS BOUNCE
BUT MPS -6,2% REMAINS AT THE MINIMUM, FIAT DOWN -1,9%

Continue the fall of Mount Paschi down by 6,18% to 0,2385 but the other banks reverse course, Unicredit gains 0,85%, Intesa 0,82%. Ubi Banca +1,26% from an initial -2%, Banco Popolare +1,36%.

Salt there too Milan Stock Exchange with the FtseMib index gaining 0,2% to 17.506 points.

Among the reasons for the rebound, after the start conditioned by the bad news coming from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), (down 11% in off-exchange trading), positive data on theGerman economy: private sector activity jumped to a 12-month high in January thanks to the decisive contribution of the services sector: PMI services index at 55,3 against expectations at 52.

Frankfurt is just below parity, Paris + 0,2% Madrid +0,08%. The stock market goes up London + 0,31%.

THEeuro is flat at 1,3324, on last night's levels.

The asset management sector is well tuned. Azimuth + 1,41% General Bank +2% marks new all-time highs, Mediolanum + 1,73%.

December 2012 ended for the managed savings with negative net inflows of 4,34 billion euro (against the positive 852 million in November) which brings the final 2012 balance of outflows to 11,31 billion, an improvement in any case compared to the -40,82 billion at the end of 2011. Assets under management rose slightly and stood at 1.199,1 billion from 1.196,4 billion in November.

Among the insurance Unipol salt by 2%, Generali +0,43%.

Fiat drops by 1,91% after disappointing data on the European car market. Pirelli falls -1,8% as does Finmeccanica -1,36%. StM +0,16% not affected by the collapse of Apple.

Slightly up Eni -0,21%. Advance Enel which earns 1,09%, Telecom Italy + 0,2%.

Among the worst titles there is Tod’s which lost 2,91% after the communication of preliminary revenues for 2012 in line with expectations.

Positive Lottomatica + 1,26%.
