In just 30 days, the Ftse Mib gains almost 7% and conquers the European record - Moncler and Unipolsai are among the blue chips to pull the sprint, but FCA and Eni are also running - The best stock of Piazza Affari, however, is Conafi Prestito, with a monster upside: +82%

Piazza Affari never stops and archives an April to be framed. Also in the last thirty days, the Milan Stock Exchange has achieved a leading performance which has allowed it not only to regain the much desired threshold of 24 thousand basis points (later lost by a hair's breadth), but also to bring home the best performance among all the major European price lists, driven by its blue chips led by Moncler and Unipolsai.

After a record-breaking 2017, in which the Ftse Mib gained more than 13%, the balance sheet for the first four months of 2018 remains broadly positive and the overall increase is close to 10%.

APRIL: FTSE MIB EUROPEAN PINK JERSEY

Data in hand, it was precisely the month of April that allowed Piazza Affari to pull the sprint and increase the booty already conquered in the previous three months. In fact, in just 30 days the Ftse Eb has accumulated a rise of 7%, a percentage that has allowed it to get on the first step of the podium among the main continental lists despite the political stalemate on thethe formation of a new government.

However, uncertainty didn't matter and no one did better than Milan, albeit Paris tried to give her a hard time. In second place in the monthly ranking is the cac 40, which gained 6,7% with a tail blow in the last monthly session (+0,68%). It follows closely London with its +6,4%. More detached, but still positive, Frankfurt (+ 4,2%) and Madrid (+4%%).

STOCK EXCHANGE: THE BEST STOCKS OF THE FTSE MIB

For the Blue Chips to lead the April rally in Piazza Affari is Moncler which, in the context of the excellent performance of luxury goods, achieved a rise of 21,3%, reaching 37,44 euros. Insurers are also in the running with Unipolsai which takes second place in the standings, rising by 15,21% (well too Unipol: +11,6% and seventh place in the standings).

In third place there is Where's Banca with an increase of 14,3%. They follow Eni  (+ 13,4%) and Tenaris (+12,7%) which, thanks to the good results of the first quarter of 2018, gained more than 2,37% in the last session of the month, reaching its highest level for over a year.

The sixth place in the internal ranking of the Ftse Mib is occupied by fca (+12,4%), the eighth from Italgas (+10,5%), the ninth from Buzzi (+ 10,3%). Closes the top ten another title of luxury: Salvatore Ferragamo with its +9,17%.

Remaining in the Ftse Mib, two further very significant aspects should be underlined:

  1. among the 40 Italian companies that make up the index, only three stocks closed the month of April with a negative performance: these are Prysmian (-4,5%), Brembo (-1,8%) And Saipem (-0,2%)
  2. despite the infighting between Elliott and Vivendi and pending the resolution meeting of 4 May, the shares Telecom Italy they closed the month up close to 6%.

BUSINESS PLACE: THE GENERAL RANKING

But the Milan Stock Exchange is not only the Ftse Mib and in this context we must also point out the excellent performance achieved by Mid and Small Caps.

In fact, it is at the top of the general ranking of the best stocks on Piazza Affari Conafi Loan. In just 30 days, the Turin financial intermediary managed to achieve an increase of 80,8%. The second step of the podium belongs instead to Acotel Group with its +66,4%. Third place for Industry and Innovation which expanded its value by 27,8%, fourth for the Popular of Sondrio, the best stock in the banking sector, which closes April with a nice +21,77%. They follow:
