Tod’s slips into Piazza Affari. About an hour after the start of trading, the share of the company led by Diego Della Valle drops more than two percentage points, the second worst fall after that of Mps.

Yesterday, with the markets closed, Tod's announced that it concluded 2012 with revenue up 7,8% on an annual basis, to 963,1 million euros. The figure is positive, but in line with operators' expectations. For this reason, profit-taking on the stock started today, which in the last two weeks has achieved a spectacular rally, reaching a new all-time high at 105 euros.

“The favorable composition of revenues by distribution channel, geographical area and product category allows me to look with confidence also at the group's profits – commented Della Valle -, which I believe could increase compared to the already excellent levels reached in 2011″.

As for sales, last year in Italy they fell by 14,5%, while in Europe they grew by 10,1%, in North America by 30,8%, in Asia and the rest of the world by 48,7%.
