The British currency benefits from statements by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, according to which the EU may need to extend the deadline for talks on new trade relations with London.

THEgold proceeds up by 0,27% and moves around 1518,45 dollars an ounce. The Petroleum it is positive at 68,15 dollars a barrel, +0,37%. Even the WTI improves, 61.62 dollars a barrel (-01%), after a drop beyond expectations in US crude inventories (-5,474 million barrels; expected -2,1 million).

In the oil sector, it is one of the best stocks on Piazza Affari Saipem, +1,98%, thanks to new contracts in various areas for 1,7 billion dollars (1,52 billion euros). Among the blue chips the first of the class is still nexi +3,12%, which updates its record to 12,22 euros per share, while Kepler Cheuvreux analysts bring the target price from 10,2 euros to 11,5 euros after the agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo and confirm the indication to keep the shares in the portfolio.

The crunches in the government favor a partial recovery of Atlantia +0,71%, after the crash of the last session. Well Recordati +0,63% and utilities: Terna +0,91%; A2a +0,35%; Snam + 0,34%.

Sales penalize Unipol -2,28%; Leonardo -2,23%; Telecom -1,94%. Declining banks from Understanding -1,9% and Unicredit -1,66%. According to the Abi-cerved report, the stagnation of the Italian economy will cause a rise in the deterioration rates of loans granted to businesses next year and in 2021, even if the newfound financial solidity of the latter, also witnessed by the Monetary Fund, will allow limiting the return to a modest increase.
