Borsa: Pirelli returns to the FtseMib from 18 December

Changing of the guard in FtseMib. The main basket of Borsa Italiana from next 18th December greets Banca Mediolanum, which will go to Mid Cap with Gima TT (Astaldi and Sogefi outgoing), and welcomes back Pirelli. On the same day, the tire company's stock will also enter the European Stoxx Europe 600 index, which has a fixed number of 600 stocks and brings together large, medium and small capitalization companies from 17 European countries.

In the list of "benches" of the Ftse Mib index, ready to take over, there will be, in order, Interpump, Hera, Banca Mediolanum itself and Diasorin. "The move depends on technical reasons for the composition of the index which take into account not only the market capitalisation, for which we can boast over 5 billion euros, but also parameters such as the free float and liquidity of the stock", commented l CEO of Banca Mediolanum, Maximus Doris.

Pirelli therefore returns to the Ftse Mib just over two months after its return to Piazza Affari. Two years after the delisting, on 4 October the company restarted at the initial price of 6,5 euros (in the lower part of the range between 6,3 and 8,3 euros). Yesterday the share closed the trading session at 7,060 euros, down by 0,28% compared to the previous session, but up compared to the IPO price of 8,6%.
