While Piazza Affari collapses, as well as all the main European stock exchanges, overwhelmed by the collapse of the Nikkei index, within the Ftse Mib basket it should be noted a single positive title, that of Parmalat, which in the late morning gained 0,66% to 2,426 euros per share.
The shares of the Collecchio company went against the trend thanks to the publication, which took place yesterday, of the documentation relating to the acquisition of Lactalis American Group, at the request of Consob. The most important topic contained within the report is the opinion of the committee for transactions with related parties which indicated an enterprise value of 763,89 million dollars for Lactalis American Group and, consequently, requests a price adjustment of approximately 140 million dollars.
The opinion of the committee is, however, at the moment still provisional, having been approved by only two members. For the definitive judgment on the operation, it will be necessary to wait for the price to be adjusted.
