The shares, which had not priced at the start of the session, marking a theoretical decline of more than 7%, opened trading at -4%, and then immediately began to recover ground. At the moment, therefore, the stock market agrees with the Mps Foundation, according to which the postponement of the 3 billion euro capital increase, decided on Saturday by the shareholders' meeting, would have resulted in a short-term advantage for the stock. The other line of thought - shared by the top management of the bank - is that the postponement of the recapitalization, a financial operation also necessary for the repayment of the 4 billion Monti bond, will put the bank in serious difficulties, with negative repercussions on the value of the actions.
