Stock exchange, Morgan Stanley gives wings to Fincantieri

The stock of Fincantieri runs in Piazza Affari, which in mid-morning scores an increase of more than 10 percentage points, to 0,703 euros. The wave of purchases on the shares of the Italian shipbuilding group was triggered Morgan Stanley, which has begun hedging the stock with an overweight rating, setting the target price at 0,87 euro.

The positive recommendation is based on several evaluations. According to analysts at the US Investment Bank, Fincantieri's stock is attractive because the group's order book is good, exposure is oriented towards growing markets, the Ebitda margin is increasing and the company has few competitors. as the barriers to enter this type of industry are difficult to overcome.

Credit Suisse, on the other hand, initiates the coverage of Fincantieri with a Neutral operating opinion and a target price of 0,70 euro. For Swiss analysts, the positive elements of Fincantieri are the order book equal to more than twice the turnover, the positive prospects for the demand for large ships and the opportunity to strengthen operating margins. Offsetting these elements is short-term negative cash flow.
