Dream opening for Montepaschi, which this morning in Piazza Affari gains more than 6 and a half points about half an hour after the start of trading, with shares trading at 0,227 euros. The rise comes the day after the green light from the Board of Directors for the capital strengthening plan requested by the EBA.
A goal that, as guaranteed by the new general manager Fabrizio Viola, will be achieved without resorting to new capital increases. The plan will be presented today to the Bank of Italy and will be divided into three main chapters: capital management, asset optimisation, asset disposals.
