Moleskine shares take off in Piazza Affari, earning 7,77% in mid-morning, at 1,222 euros, achieving one of the best increases on the Milan Stock Exchange.

Yesterday after the markets were closed, the company in the historic diary announced that it closed 2014 with revenues of 98,7 million euros, up 13,1% at constant exchange rates. The company also confirms for 2015 the target of revenues between 115 and 120 million.

Moleskine points out that 2014 revenues, "in line with expectations", were driven by the 28% growth in the fourth quarter.

“The solid sales results recorded in 2014 make us confident that we can also achieve the profitability targets expected for the year”, commented the CEO Arrigo Berni.

The company expects a favorable exchange rate trend for the current year and assumes that, against an appreciation of the dollar against the euro of approximately 10%, the positive impact on revenues will be approximately 4% and on net income of about 2%.
