Bounce day for Business Square, which – after the -0,85% recorded yesterday – gained about two points by mid-morning, following the good performance of the American and Asian markets. The other main European indices are also in positive territory: London +0,8%, Frankfurt +1,4% and Paris +1,5%. Sharp decline in BTP-Bund spread, which returns to 330 basis points, after closing yesterday's session at 345. The new width of the gap corresponds to interest rates on our ten-year government bonds equal to 4,77%. The euro it travels just above $1,30.

On the Ftse Mib they recover the banks, which had lost ground in the last few sessions: Mediobanca +3,27%, Intesa Sanpaolo +2,5%, Unicredit +2,42% and Pop Milano +2,28%. Under pressure instead Banco Popolare, with discounts up to -5%. The institute announced that it could end 2012 with losses of 330 million euros, higher than market expectations, due to the weak performance of the subsidiary Agos-Ducato and the amount of net value adjustments to loans.

Weak Prysmian (-0,83%), which this morning announced the launch of the placement of a convertible bond of 300 million euro. Decided rebound instead for Mediaset: +3%, after -6,5% yesterday. The stock is feeling the effects of the climate of political instability in these days. Well too Fiat (+ 3,53%) and Generali (+ 3,10%).

Vertical drop for Telecom Italy Media, which yesterday closed the agreement for the sale of La7 to the publisher Urbano Cairo. This morning at the opening the shares of the company controlled by Teleocm Italia were unable to make a price, marking a theoretical drop of seven points. After a few minutes, the stock was admitted to trading and by mid-morning it was down 6,75%, at 0,1464 euro. Yesterday TI Media shares had closed down by 6,4%, at 0,157 euro. This morning, however, the securities of Telecom Italy (+2,93%) and of Cairo communication (+ 3,95%).

The economic day awaits today two important European appointments: the meeting of theEcofin (which will try to find an agreement on the preliminary agreement on Basel 3) and the press conference of the 83rd International car show, where the intervention of the director of Fiat-Chrysler, Sergio Marchionne is also expected.
