The shares of the Alfa Romeo have put in place a sudden rise following an indiscretion reported by the Bloomberg news agency, according to which, Vincent Bollorè, number one of Vivendì, would like to propose an amicable agreement to the Berlusconi family to resolve the dispute that began with the takeover of Mediaset by the French group in December. According to rumors, the president of Vivendì intends to offer the Berlusconi a share in the transalpine company. The market is therefore waiting for the reorganization to go through a public offer to the shareholders.

At the moment no confirmation has come from France. In fact, Vivendi's spokesman said it is the company's policy not to comment on the rumors.

In the wake of the rumors Mediaset stock recorded a sudden jump, entering the volatility auction to +5,1% to then reach an intraday high of +8,8%. Volumes of over 15 million items would have been reached against the average of 10,9 million for the entire session in the last 5 days and 27,7 million over 30 days.
