The Mediaset stock flies to Piazza Affari, gaining 6,8% at the end of the morning, to 3,284 euros, achieving the best rise of the Ftse Mib.
The half-year data from Mediaset Espana (which in the same minutes is up 5,7% on the Madrid Stock Exchange) triggered the wave of purchases on Alfa Romeo shares.
The Spanish subsidiary of the group achieved revenues of 468 million euros (+9,6% on an annual basis) and an adjusted Ebitda up by 58,6%, to 88,1 million.
Adjusted profit, on the other hand, decreased to 29 million, from 37,7 recorded in the same period last year. A decline mainly linked to the devaluation of Digital+.
At the end of June the net financial position was positive for 152,7 million, an improvement compared to 75,8 million as at 30/06/2013.
