Luxottica shares raise their head in Piazza Affari, gaining more than three percentage points in mid-morning (to 38,61 euros), achieving the best increase in the Ftse Mib.
The purchases were triggered by the decision of Citigroup to raise the target price to 45 euros, confirming the “buy” judgment.
Yesterday the shares of the eyewear group had lost 1,81%, dragged down together with the entire luxury sector by the cautious reports from some investment banks such as Credit Suisse.
Today the rest of the industry travels at two speeds. Salvatore Ferragamo's descent continues, which (after the -5% recorded yesterday) drops more than two percentage points and is still the worst stock in the main list.
Tod's, on the other hand, rebounded, going from -5,49% yesterday at the close to +1% this morning.
Among the other luxury stocks, Yoox +0,5%, Damiani +0,9% and Brunello Cucinelli -3,36%.
