The Espresso holds its own. The publishing group has just published its accounts for the first half, which recorded a stable net profit of 3,8 million (from 3,7 a year earlier), albeit on revenues down 10% to 332,5 million.

Ebitda, according to the note, stands at 33,7 from 33,3 million, Ebit at 17,9 from 17,8 million while net debt improves to 66,8 million from -73,5 million at the end of 2013. Circulation revenues, equal to 114,8 million, show a decrease of 6,8%, advertising revenues decreased by 10,2% to 188,2 million.

"As for the forecasts for the entire year, they are heavily dependent on the trend of the advertising market, which is still uncertain", underlines the publishing group. The stock on the stock exchange accelerated after the release of the data, substantially in line with analysts' expectations: after 14 pm it rose to more than +5%, only to settle shortly before 16% at around +4,3%, 1,253 euro.
