Borsa Italiana: go-ahead for Moncler listings

On 11 November, the historic down jacket company started the pre-marketing activity in view of the landing on Piazza Affari, which will lead it to list around 30% of the capital. The transaction should be worth approximately 750 million euros, based on a valuation of 100% of Moncler equal to approximately 12,5 times the 2012 Ebitda (170 million euros).

The global coordinators of the operation are Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Mediobanca. Banca Imi, JP Morgan, Nomura and UBS act as joint book-runners, while BNP Paribas, Equita Sim and HSBC are lead managers.

Moncler's current shareholding is made up as follows: Eurazeo 45%, Ruffini Partecipazioni 32%, Carlyle 18%, Brands Partners (Progressio Sgr) 5% and Sergio Buongiovanni 0,3%.
