Consob has banned short selling of Intesa Sanpaolo shares for today's sessions (starting at 12,15) and tomorrow. The news can be read in a note from the Commission.
The provision applies article 23 of the Community Regulation on short selling, taking into account the price variation recorded today by the security, which is above the 10% threshold. Naked short selling was already banned on November XNUMX last year.
At the beginning of the afternoon, the Intesa stock recorded a decrease of more than eight and a half points, after losing more than 10%.
