A day in sharp contrast today in Piazza Affari for the shares of Impregilo. While the Ftse Mib travels sharply down (-1,8% just over an hour after the opening), the share of the first Italian general contractor scores an increase of more than two and a half points. The strong earnings are linked to theagreement arrived at the weekend on group property.
The agreement provides the sale by Atlantia to Argofin (controlled by Gavio) of 33% of Igli, the corporate vehicle that owns 30% of Impregilo. The value of the operation is 87,6 billion euros. In exchange, the Benettons purchased 45,76% of Asa Autostrade per il Sudamerica from Gavio, reaching 100% of Grupo Costanera, which manages 200 kilometers of highways in Chile.
