The stock lists in the first half of 2012 faithfully reflect the macroeconomic trend of the respective areas, but there are some exceptions. In the Old Continent, for example, the good performance of theIseq Irish, which started the new year with an encouraging +8,51% in the first half.

He's not kidding Poland, (+8,89% the national stock market index): the data reflects the good exploits of Warsaw, one of the most dynamic continental realities. But in this case the proximity to the Germany: driven by the German locomotive, the Polish economy has benefited more than all the neighboring countries from the commercial dynamism of Berlin, above all for the exchange flows in products of the electromechanical industry (42% of total exports) and automotive, but also boats and aircraft.

Il Dax in Frankfurt, in parallel, increases by 8,78%: nothing to do with the apathetic 1,17% in Paris, not to mention the contraction of the "Pigs" indices which, with the exception of Dublin, suffer from the strong exposure of bank stocks to sovereign debt: Milan retreats by 5,40%, Madrid by 17,09%, while the PSI of Lisbon leaves 14,49% on the ground.

But if you look at the European index Stoxx 50, which brings together the main blue chips of the continent, the index fluctuated around parity in the first half, marking an increase of 0,48%.

The gold medal, however, goes to Turkey: Istanbul is growing rapidly at a BRICS pace, and is pulling the Bosphorus stock exchange with it, which scores a resounding +22% in the first half of 2012.

The best in Italy

On this side of the Alps, good signs from Campari (+6,71%), Parmalat (+20,49%), while Fiat and Fiat Industrial they mark, respectively, a galloping +11,77% and +16,83%. All while Exor, the Lingotto financial holding company, grew by 8,75%.

There are some surprises among the commercial banks: the People of Milan in fact, it escapes the grip of debt and scores a pyrotechnic +22,31% on the bill, overtaken by a mid cap: General Bank brings home an encouraging +25,69% in the first 24 weeks of the new year.

In investment banking they stand out Azimuth (+ 35,28%) and Pirelli (+27,52%), but also Bank Ifis it makes itself respected with an excellent +24,75%. Among the small caps, Prelios boasts a peremptory +52,91%.

On the consumer markets front, which certainly do not occupy a preponderant share in terms of capitalization, it should however be noted the encouraging performance of Luxottica (+ 27,28%) and Salvatore Ferragamo (+ 61,10%). Tods grows by 25,22%. The sector benefits from bright development prospects and the conquest of new markets in the East.

Industry is less encouraging, where, however, they are advancing at a good pace Finmeccanica (+ 11,27%), Prysmian (+22,36%). He excels in chemistry Diasorin (+17,86%), confirming the liveliness of a sector which, although "remixed" by intense reorganization processes of the technological poles, manages to bring the most valuable pieces to the top.

in construction, Impregile it benefits from the development prospects on international markets, in the wake of the Salini-Gavio duel for the strategic direction of the group. The share leaps, every six months, by 41%.

Between the media Seat Yellow Pages marks an increase of 26,10 (but the stock was almost at zero, therefore the increase appears physiological). Significant collapse of Mediaset (-35,50%) And Class Publishers (-32,16%). Good morning (Ftse it star), gains 94,92%.

Among the mid caps, oil producers are led by Camfin (+32,04%), while Eni marks an increase of 4,81%.

The sun does not shine on utilities, but on them Terna manages to extract a more than positive result, marking a growth of 9,22% in the first six months of the year.

Lottomatica finally, it benefits directly from the crisis: the race for betting pushes investors to bet on the stock, which grew by 2012% in the first half of 30,92.
