Stock Exchange, Hera enters the Ftse Mib of the 40 major stocks

Ivy, the Bolognese multiutiliy chaired by Tomaso Tommasi di Vignano and active in electricity, gas, waste and water, officially joins from next 18 March of the Ftse Mib index of the Italian Stock Exchange, which collects the 40 largest stocks of Piazza Affari by capitalization, liquidity and trading volume.

The entry into the club of the major stock exchanges, in which international funds invest heavily, crowns Hera's long growth path that began 16 years ago under the guidance of Tommasi, which was based both on internal growth and on a impressive chain of 38 acquisitions and mergers of local utilities, which have allowed Hera to grow in turnover and business and to expand territorially not only in the whole of Emilia-Romagna but in the North East coast and largely of Center of Italy.

In 16 years Hera has practically quintupled its size and recently, in the presentation of the new business plan 2018-22, was able to proudly announce that for the first time he had crossed the psychological threshold of one billion Mol.

The entry into the Ftse Mib, where will take the place of Brembo, is a further step in the impressive development achieved in recent years by the Bologna-based multiutility. Today Hera has one market capitalization of 4,3 billion of euros and one of its shares is worth about 3 euros.
