Stock Exchange: Gtech shines, the accounts do not disappoint

The wave of purchases on the company's stock comes in the wake of the accounts released yesterday, which were in line with market expectations – The group closed the third quarter with revenues down 1,4% to 730,2 million (but up 1,4% at constant exchange rates) and with a net profit of 32,2 million from 49 million (-34,3%).

The share of Gtech shines in Piazza Affari, which at the beginning of the afternoon gains more than two percentage points, achieving the best increase in the Ftse Mib after that of Pirelli. The wave of purchases on the title of the gaming company (formerly Lottomatica) comes in the wake of the accounts released yesterday, which were in line with market expectations. 

The group ended the third quarter with revenues down 1,4% to 730,2 million (but up 1,4% at constant exchange rates) and with a Net income of 32,2 million from 49 million (-34,3%). L'Ebitda it contracted by 11%, to 219 million, net of an extraordinary provision of 30 million for the settlement of the dispute relating to slot machines in Italy.

THEnet financial debt at the end of September it amounted to 2,59 billion, from 2,55 billion at the end of 2012. In the third quarter it improved by 77 million compared to the second quarter 2013.

On the net financial position, the group reiterates that it is “well positioned to achieve the year-end target. We also expect to place ourselves in the upper part of the Ebitda guidance for 2013, excluding the impact of the provision intended for the facilitated settlement of the dispute over gaming machines in Italy”.
