European stock exchanges all down with Milan losing 0,5% – Fineco Bper are the best-selling stocks of the Ftse Mib – Mediobanca, Prysmian and Terna go against the trend

European stocks closed an uncertain session lower, conditioned by news on the global pandemic. The new outbreak is under control in China, but Beijing is practically armored, while there are increases in infections in many US states and in Latin America. The world is still sick and the markets, chasing a perhaps distant recovery, do not seem to have recovered. Wall Street weak side, in the wake of a new increase in weekly unemployment benefits (claimed for 1,5 million against 1,3 expected) and is currently moving divided, with the Nasdaq bucking the trend thanks to technology stocks. In this climate and in view of the weekend, therefore, the desire to go to the collection prevails, after the earnings of the past few days, to Frankfurt -0,83%; Paris -0,75%; London -0,5%. Bad Madrid -1,23%.

Piazza Affari, slightly negative yesterday as well, today adds a loss of 0,51%, stopping at 19.485 points, with the contrasted banks, which open and close the list: Mediobanca +1,79%; Bper -2,75%. The European Central Bank has awarded a total of 1.308,43 billion euros in refinancing, with a three-year maturity. Requests came from 742 lenders. The interest rate on liquidity will vary up to a minimum of -1% based on the amount of funds that will be used for loans to the real economy. Also Intesa Sanpaolo (-1,06%) took part in the fourth TLTRO III financing operation for 35,8 billion euro, bringing the total of financing operations in which the group participated to approximately 70,9 billion euro, within a maximum amount that each bank can access of 90,2 billion euros.

Central banks therefore remain protagonists in this phase in every corner of the earth. The Bank of England left its interest rate unchanged at 0,1% today, announcing a £100bn increase in its government bond purchase program to £745bn. We are "ready for further action needed to support the economy," they promised in London. The decision weighs on GBP losing share against the euro and the dollar. The greenback, favored in this phase of risk aversion, is up about 1% against his majesty's currency.

L'EUR it is trading down against the greenback to 1,121, but appreciates against the pound, with the cross around 0,9028.

Among raw materials, the Petroleum and Brent travels above 41,4 dollars a barrel.

In Piazza Affari the biggest increases of the day are from Mediobanca, Prysmian + 1,63% stm +1,33%; Italgas +1,24%; Terna +1,21%. The most consistent discounts are of Finecobank -3,38%, Bper, Amplifon -2,66% Recordati -2,25%; Unicredit -1,88%. 

Atlantia is flat, waiting to understand how the game on concessions for Autostrade will end, after the request for help sent by the holding company to Brussels to intervene in the dispute. 

Out of the main basket Juventus, -5,41%, also loses the match on the Stock Exchange, after the defeat suffered yesterday in the Coppa Italia final with Napoli.

Ivy marks a drop of 0,69%, following the news of thepurchase of 2% of Ascopiave from A2A, a move that brings it to 4,9% of the capital and makes it the second public shareholder of the Treviso-based company active in the natural gas distribution and sale sector.
