The Stock Exchange loves clashes, changes at the top give confidence in the possibility of change. And as expected, this morning the title of Generali Exchanges start well in Piazza Affari.

The Lion's title gains more than one point in the first session after the drama Board meeting last Saturday morning, when the directors of the company voted by majority no confidence in the managing director Giovanni Perissinotto. Mario Greco will replace him. 

The shares of Mediobanca, Generali's largest shareholder, are also traveling strongly today, gaining 1,8% by mid-morning. The stock of the insurance company – on expectations of turnover in management – ​​had closed trades last Friday with a sharp rise: +3,35% in a negative market. 

Meanwhile Mario Greco has resigned with immediate effect from Zurich Insurance Group to assume the position of Chief Executive Officer of Generali.
