Finmeccanica closed the first three months of the year with a loss of 12 million euros and Ebitda dropped to 153 million. After announcing the quarterly report, the holding collapses in Piazza Affari and loses 3,67%. Orders did well, growing by 11% to 2,896 billion, mainly thanks to acquisitions in the helicopter sector. 2014 guidance confirmed.
On the other hand, profit and revenues grew by 1,56% for Ansaldo Sts, which boasts a positive net financial position of 214,7 million. Quarterly orders up even if the order for the Lima metro (510 million) has not yet been accounted for. The main fears of analysts derive from the uncertainties regarding the plan to divest Finmeccanica.
