Stock Exchange, Finmeccanica still rallying on Ansaldo Energia rumours

Negotiations for the sale of the subsidiary accelerate: January 23rd is the deadline for offers – Doosan's Koreans seem to have an advantage over Siemens, while the Italian consortium led by the FSI could now be out of the game.

The Finmeccanica rally continues in Piazza Affari. After the +6% recorded yesterday, today in mid-morning the defense company's stock gains more than three points on the stock exchange, among the best blue chips of the Ftse Mib. To fuel the wave of purchases on the shares of the group are still the rumors about sale of the subsidiary Ansaldo Energia, which appears to have accelerated. In fact, the deadline for binding offers should expire on 23 January

According to what "La Repubblica" writes, the offer of the Koreans of Doosan would be ahead of that of Siemens. A broker speaks of a figure exceeding 1,3 billion euros.

In any case, both Doosan and Siemens seem to have money greater possibilities of the Italian consortium led by the Strategic Fund, which would not be able to buy the entire company. Instead, the two foreign companies can afford to take over the entire share package, with the exception of 10% which would remain in the hands of Finmeccanica.

Again according to the newspaper, Finmeccanica's goal would be the closing of the deal by 30 June, expiry date of the lock-up which allows shareholders to oppose the sale.
