In Piazza Affari, all eyes are on the Finmeccanica stock, which at the end of the morning gained more than four percentage points (to 10,77 euros), recording the second best increase on the Ftse Mib after that of Mps.
The purchases of the defense giant's shares come after Friday's board of directors dedicated to sale of the subsidiary Ansaldo Breda. No official decision has been made, but according to the latest rumors it should be close by now and a preference for the Japanese offer would have taken shape Hitachi.
At the moment, however, the offer of the Chinese group is still in the running Insigma.
