Stock exchange, Fiat slides waiting for new data on registrations

Difficult day in Piazza Affari for the Fiat stock, which lost about two points in mid-morning, against the -0,5% of the Ftse Mib. The downside is determined by negative expectations for data on Italian registrations March, which will be released today at 18 by the Ministry of Transport.

The same numbers related to French market however, they highlighted a good performance from Lingotto. According to the manufacturers' association CCFA (Comité des constructeurs francais d'automobiles), last month car registrations in France fell by 16,4% on an annual basis, while in the first three months of 2013 the drop was 14,7 .XNUMX%. 

In this context, the group Fiat achieved decidedly better results than the market average, recording a drop of 2,3 percentage points in March (to 11.473 units) and 7,6% in the first quarter (to 27.165 units). The Lingotto thus saw its market share rise from 5,01% to 5,79% in the month and from 4,81% to 5,17% in the quarter.

The main French manufacturer, PSA Peugeot Citroen, closed last month with an 8,3% drop in registrations.
