Another change of pace, in the second part of the session, for almost all the European price lists: after a colorless morning, Milan scores a rebound and closes at +0,22%, 20.296 points, driven by Ferragamo +2,45%, Italgas +1,97%, Cnh +1,93% and Leonardo +1,82%. Tonic Madrid, +1,12%, followed by Paris +0,58% and Frankfurt +0,11%. London falls -0,39%. Wall Street opens cautiously, but then strengthens, with falling unemployment data and after yesterday's slide, due to the reading of the minutes of the last meeting of the Fed, which wants to reduce the amount of assets accumulated during the years of crisis. Today we await the outcome of the first day of meetings between Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The euro-dollar ratio fluctuates, with the single currency currently falling by 0,2%, exchange rate at 1,064. Oil rears its head, Brent +0,64%%, 54,71 dollars a barrel. Gold -0,28%, 1251,76 dollars an ounce.

The Italian secondary is still weak, even if it rises from the lows of the day. The spread with the German ten-year bond remains in the 200 area, at 201.00 points (+0,7%), yield 2,28%. 

Question and answer between Mario Draghi and the governor of the Bundesbank Jens Weidmann. The number one of the ECB, in the morning, he reaffirmed the expansive policy of the central bank. While Weidmann, in a conference, affirmed that, in the current context, one can "absolutely hypothesize a less expansive monetary policy".

In Piazza Affari, purchases reward Ferragamo and Leonardo, the latter thanks to the fact that the Argentine Gendarmerie has ordered an Agusta Westland AW169 light intermediate helicopter to support public safety and border patrol operations.

In the automotive sector Cnh shines, flat Brembo, weak Ferrari -0,29%, fractional recovery FCA +0,88%. John Elkan confirms that Sergio Marchionne will leave FCA in 2019, but will remain with the prancing horse. The succession is open and, probably, the choice will be internal. On the other hand, the family safe has moved back, which since yesterday has been affected by the publication of the 2016 accounts, with declining profits. Exor loses 0,75%, also due to the relegation of the title by Kepler to "reduce" from "hold". 

Oil products follow the trend of black gold: Eni, +0,13%, Tenaris +0,38% and Saipem +0,05%. The utilities are well tuned, in particular Italgas.

Contrasted the financial ones, with Banca Generali growing after that first quarter accounts, +1,35% and profit taking on Azimut, -1,46%, after yesterday's rally and despite the record inflows in March. Well Ubi, +1,51%, Bper +1,23%, Intesa +0,64%, Unicredit +0,21%.

Profit-taking also hit Prysmian, -0,66%, despite CFO Pier Francesco Facchini's optimism about 2017, thanks to the telecommunications sector.

Telecom slumbering, +0,06%, after Vivendi notified the European Commission that after the May assembly it could have control of Tim.

Unipol takes a small step, +0,1%, which announces that it is the first Italian company in terms of reputation in the financial sector (banking and insurance) with a score of 69 points/100 according to the 2017 Italy RepTrak® ranking (index at the public opinion) released today by the Reputation Institute.

Sales are concentrated on Buzzi Unicem, -1,28%, Mediaset -1,28% and Generali -1%.
