Borsa, Eni: the privatizations to come cause the stock to slip

public companies in difficulty in Piazza Affari, after Prime Minister Enrico Letta confirmed the Government's intention to launch a "big" by the end of the month divestment plan called “Destination Italy”

The stock most affected by the announcement is that of Eni, which by mid-morning fell on the stock market by more than one and a half points. This is the second worst drop of the entire FTSE after that of Banca Mps, in deep red after the announcement that the capital increase will be larger than expected.

In view of the privatizations, the six-legged dog could represent one of the main sources of income for the State, since the Treasury directly controls 4,34% of the group, while 25,76% of the capital is in the hands of the Deposits and Loans Fund.

The "Destination Italy" plan could also involve Cdp Networks, the box to which 30% of Snam was conferred, which in turn loses about one point in Piazza Affari.

Among the other companies in which the State could lighten the current controlling stake, there is also Finmeccanica, which, however, is gaining 0,4% on the Stock Exchange today, awaiting news on the sale of Ansaldo Energia.
