Profits down 32%, turnover +10,1% – The markets are also awaiting Enel's industrial pine, which could provide for the delisting of the subsidiary from the Madrid Stock Exchange.

Stock market, Enel Green Power slips after 2014 accounts

The stock of Enel Green Power slipped on the Stock Exchange, dropping 1,9% at the end of the morning to 1,835 euros. Yesterday the Enel subsidiary published its 2014 accounts, closed with a Net income equal to 359 million euros, a decrease of 32% compared to 2013. 

I revenues totals amounted to 2,966 billion (+10,1%), while theEbitda reached 1,942 billion (+9,2%) and theEBIT amounted to 1,021 billion, down 7,2% due to the increase in depreciation, amortization and impairment losses (242 million euros) mainly linked to the impairment recognized in 2014 on the goodwill and net assets of the Enel Green Power Hellas CGU (equal to 181 million euros) and depreciation related to the greater installed capacity in North America and Latin America.

THEdebt rose to 6,038 billion (+13,4% compared to the end of 2013). The Board has proposed a dividend by 3,2 cents, unchanged from the previous year.

The markets are also waiting for Enel's industrial pine, which will arrive next week and could contain indications on the possibility delisted of the subsidiary Enel GP from the Madrid Stock Exchange, in order to concentrate the quotation on Piazza Affari and cut the costs associated with the double quotation.
