Stock Exchange: Del Vecchio pushes Mediobanca, Hong Kong sinks Moncler

Piazza Affari, thanks to the banks and oil companies, recovers the ground lost yesterday compared to the other European Stock Exchanges. In any case, the expectation of the Fed's decisions, arriving tonight, weighs on the lists. Milan advances by 0,6%, again above the 21.900 mark, half a point more than Paris and Frankfurt. London, awaiting the verdict of the Supreme Court on the long standstill of Parliament, gains 0,25% in line with Madrid after theannouncement of new elections (the fourth in just over a year). Wall Street futures signal an opening just below parity pending the Fed's announcements

Oil prices are within the norm: -0.9% for WTI crude oil at 58,7 dollars a barrel.  Eni + 1% Saipem+ 0,13%.

In 2020, Italy's GDP should grow by 0,3%, perhaps even less. The forecast could be included in the next update of the public finance document. 

The yield on the ten-year BTP also falls to 0,87% (-3 points). spread at 138. This morning Portugal placed 1,25 billion in 6 and 12-month bonds, the latter at a rate of -0,44%.

Eurozone inflation remained stable in August at its lowest level in nearly three years, Eurostat said, confirming previous estimates. The vice president of the ECB, Luis De Guindos took the floor this morning in Madrid, in his speech he stated that it cannot be delegated only to monetary policy, the work of supporting the economy, a call to governments and to Germany.

At Piazza Affari it goes up Mediobanca +1,5% on the wave of Leonardo del Vecchio's entry with a 6,94% share. Unicredit + 0,9%. Where's Banca +1,5%-

It also advances Fiat Chrysler despite the fall in registrations back in August to the level of 2017: 130 thousand units, with a drop of 22% on an annual basis, Jeep -8% (-3 thousand units), Alfa Romeo -55% (-10 thousand units). 

New discounts for Leonardo -1,7% and Prysmian -2,5%.

In luxury it loses its shots Moncler -5,8%. Yesterday, the CEO, Remo Ruffini, said that the anti-government protests underway in Hong Kong are affecting the entire luxury sector and could affect the growth of the group in 2019. Macao and Taiwan, added Ruffini, are also experiencing a slowdown. The three markets account for 10% of the quilt group's sales.

UBS lowered its target price up  Tod’s (+0,32%) from 36 to 31 euros, confirming the sell recommendation.
