Italy-China, one way. To be precise, the commercial route to the East starts from Turin and will transport milk. Lots of milk, and more: about millions of liters of products, according to what the Centrale del Latte di Torino communicated in a note requested by Consob, thus informing that since February weekly exports of long-life milk and also beverages have begun soy to the Asian giant.
"With regards to sales volumes, the company specifies that these could vary from time to time with respect to the demand that will be recorded, but that around 2 million liters of products are estimated at full capacity", says the note.
The news of the landing in China immediately inflamed the markets: the Centrale del Latte di Torino share was suspended shortly after 13 pm in the volatility auction, while it had shot up to 2,47 euros with a gain of over 17%.
