Rebound tests for Carige. The Genoese institute, after having sold 28% to Piazza Affari in the days immediately following the publication of the results of the stress tests (which highlighted a capital shortfall of 814 million euros), opens the Stock Exchange week in a positive manner, scoring an increase of about six percentage points at the end of the morning.
Carige's prices are driven by the prospects of new investors entering the recapitalization of around 500 million on which the institute is working. Furthermore, the Carige Foundation has announced that it is looking for a strong industrial alliance in view of the increase, to reduce the amount to a minimum, while Andrea Bonomi has announced that he is interested in becoming the relative majority shareholder of the Genoese bank.
