Stock market: Camfin rises and Pirelli slips while awaiting the Tronchetti-Malacalza agreement

In the middle of the morning, the holding's share scored one of the best increases on the Ftse Mib – The shares of the subsidiary instead are placed at the bottom of the price list – Expectations are growing for the agreement between Tronchetti Provera and Malacalza for the reorganization.

By mid-morning, the holding stock gained more than two and a half points, scoring one of the best increases on the Ftse Mib. Conversely, the shares of the subsidiary lose about one point and are placed at the bottom of the declines of the list. 

The shares were unexpectedly readmitted to trading this morning, after yesterday they had been suspended for the entire session "waiting for a press release" which would give the go-ahead for the restructuring of the holding company, the largest shareholder in the tire group. However, no new information is yet given to the market.

"The companies Marco Tronchetti Provera Spa, Clessidra, Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit - reads a note - communicate that the activities for the definition of the agreements relating to an investment operation in Camfin are being completed, aimed at the restructuring of the related ownership structure, also following the hypothesized termination of the partnership between the companies Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. Spa, Marco Tronchetti Provera Spa and Gpi, on the one hand, and Malacalza Investimenti, on the other. Further communications will follow."
