Salini Impregilo shares still down on Piazza Affari, after shortly after 15 pm it lost almost 3% in 3,832 euros. The construction company is awaiting the imminent placement (with bookbuilding) of ordinary shares, intended for institutional investors. An operation approved yesterday by the Boards of Salini Impregilo and Salini Costruttori and which aims to expand the free float from the current 10% to 40%, improve liquidity and further strengthen the capital structure of the general contractor.
In the event of an overall placement, Salini Costruttori will hold approximately 61,5% of the ordinary share capital of the company, or 58,5% if the overallotment option is fully exercised. As part of the offer, Salini Impregilo is bound to a 180-day lock-up and Salini Costruttori to a 360-day lock-up, subject to possible exceptions
