On a positive day for the banking sector, with only one exception of Mps, the rise of Banco Popolare stands out in Piazza Affari, which at the beginning of the afternoon rose by about four percentage points, to 1,678 euros, signaling itself as one of the best stocks of the Ftse Mib.
The upgrade of Intermonte, which raised the target price from 1,80 to 2,10 euro, confirming the outperform recommendation.
Based on some press leaks circulated over the weekend, the fund management company of the Banco Popolare group, Aletti-Gestielle Sgr, would also be targeted by foreign and Italian groups. Among these, in pole position there would be Azimut, which in the same minutes gained 3,8% on the Stock Exchange, to 21,58 euros.
