Industrial production

As for the macro data, waiting for the data on US inflation, which will be published on December 10, in Italy industrial production in 2021 it grew by 11,8% against a decrease of 11,4% in 2020. According to Istat estimates, however, in December last year the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production decreased by 1% compared to November, while on average in the fourth quarter the level of production grew by 0,5% compared to the previous quarter. 

Piazza Affari: who goes up and who goes down

In Piazza Affari, investors' eyes are all on the quarterly reports. While awaiting the accounts of Mediobanca (+0,29%), Carige (+0,5%), Finecobank (+0,59%) and Buzzi Unicem (+2%), holding the bank is Bpm bank which in mid-morning gains 5,58% driven by profits above estimates recorded in the fourth quarter and the decision to increase the dividend over the period of the plan. On the other side of the fence there is instead Bper which in the aftermath of the accounts is the only stock of the Ftse Mib down (-1,9%).

On the main list, the performances of the Agnelli galaxy titles should be noted, with Exor and Stellantis earning respectively 3,7% and 3,46%. positive Ferrari (+2,7%), while proceeding with momentum Cnh and Iveco, both up 2,9%. The two companies yesterday presented their 2021 accounts but also those for the fourth quarter, the first after the split
