Stock exchange: banks and oil bring the FtseMib back below 17 thousand

The price of oil returns below 30 dollars a barrel and pushes the stock exchanges downwards: Piazza Affari is among the worst and loses 1,19% - Strong sales on Bper, Saipem, Banco Popolare, Unicredit and Telecom - Mediaset on the shields due to rumors of a possible alliance with Vivendi on pay-TV – the performances of Poste, Campari, Prysmian and Terna were also positive.

Closing down for the lists of the Old Continent affected by sales on banks and cars. The Eurostoxx50 lost 1%. In Frankfurt, the ECB completed the SREP exercise for 2015 and, according to a Eurotower statement, the overall result is an increase in capital requirements of 50 basis points from 2015 to 2016. Global risks for supervised banks since the SSM, the note reads, they have not decreased compared to 2014. WTI oil drops 3,77% to 29,61 dollars a barrel. Saudi Foreign Affairs Minister Adel al-Jubeir told AFP news agency Saudi Arabia will not reduce its oil production to support prices, which have collapsed due to an excess supply.

The treasury announced that 24-year BTp-i bonds for an amount between 15 and 0,5 billion will be auctioned on 1 February. The security is in the fourth tranche, expires on 15.9.2032 and is presented at auction with 164 days of accrued interest. The Ctz auction will not take place in February.

A Business Square sales hit banks and oil companies: Bper -5,98%, Saipem -4,45%, Azimut -3,58%, Banco Popolare -3,50%, Unicredit -3,44%. Telecom Italia loses 3,33%. Featured on the Ftse Mib Mediaset +3,39% which benefits from the rumors of Corriere della Sera on the arrival of an offer for the Alfa pay TV from Vivendi: 900 million euros, less than what was offered a few months ago by the Murdoch group. Poste Italiane +2,17%, Prysmian +1,31%, Tod's +1,08%, Campari +0,92%
