In Piazza Affari, the spotlight is on Autogrill, which in the mid-morning loses more than 4% on the Stock Exchange, making it one of the most negative stocks on the Italian list. This is the third consecutive day of decline for the restaurant and retail company.
To drag down the actions of the group is the quarterly disappointing published yesterday. In the first quarter of 2014 Autogrill recorded a net loss of 36,6 million euros (against a consensus of 24 million) and revenues down to 813 million euros from 841,9 million in the same period of the previous year. Revenues are also affected by the rally of the euro which has led to a contraction in receipts in dollars. Autoggrill has also lowered its turnover estimates for all of 2014, to 3,86 billion euros against 3,985 billion in 2013.
